After growing up in Berlin, Germany, I studied Drama in Edinburgh and Bristol. Shortly after university, I moved to London and quickly started directing short plays in established pub theatre venues such as Theatre N16 and Theatre 503. In 2017, Chummy by John Foster at the White Bear Theatre, Kennington, was nominated for four Offie Awards, including Best Director and in 2019, I directed Anahera at the Finborough Theatre. With an international portfolio, the stories that most compel me capture the macro structures and events of the world in the microcosm of the human experience and potential. Working with a European-British cultural understanding and aesthetic, I believe in a theatre of Hope - in pursuit of truth, justice and against oppression.
